Identity Design : First Swing Rhode Island
This project came to us through a printing company in Rhode Island that we collaborate with on occasional project. They were printing a mailing for the First Swing Charity Golf Tournament and felt they needed a better identity to brand their annual tournament. The First Swing Charity Tournament helps people with physical handicaps get out and exercise by playing golf.
Since the design was for a charity we designed this with only two spot colors to keep printing costs down. We used a nice earth tone tan and dark green to mimic the colors usually seen out on the course. The incorporation of the golf ball into the word "Rhode" helps create a visual bond between the image and the text.
